THE CHALLENGE:

Sanyo required a 150,000 square foot distribution facility in the northeast region of Will County.

THE SOLUTION:

Kevin Tobin initially secured a sublease for Sanyo in their existing 150,000 square foot warehouse, providing an immediate solution. He then strategically guided Sanyo into a build-to-suit acquisition for a larger, 299,520 square foot facility, accommodating their growth plans. To further optimize their real estate strategy, Kevin presented Sanyo with a sale-leaseback opportunity for the original warehouse, enabling them to realize a $10.00 per square foot profit.

“We asked Kevin for something simple like a 150,000 square foot lease and he gave us a solution that increased Sanyo Logistics’ business opportunities, reduced our real estate occupancy costs, and maximized our real estate opportunities and flexibility.”
